‘GACON’ Solo Exhibiton by Imelda Adams  In 2017, a life-altering event shifted Imelda Adams’ spiritual and artistic path, moving her from precise realist drawings to a deeper, more introspective journey. This search for meaning crystallized in GACON, her first solo exhibition, named after a childhood term for the most dependable piece in a game. Inspired by the verse, “the life of this world is nothing but play and amusement,” she now sees life as a vast playing field, with her art as her way of navigating it.
